Engagement Letter, Conflict of Interest
The engagement letter and the rights and obligations arising therefrom are subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The non-exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising in connection with such engagement letter or concerning its validity shall be Hamburg, Germany.
Due to professional regulations (Section 43a (4) BRAO), attorneys are prohibited from representing conflicting interests. Therefore, before a mandate is accepted, we always check whether such a conflict of interest exists.
